Here is the thread to share your imperfect creations, your joyful discoveries and creations of pure play. The "official" share day is Thursday, every Thursday in June, but feel free to share here anytime or directly on blog posts or via e-mail at creatingconfidently@gmail.com
Join us on this journey to re-discover play in the process and maybe even new ways we connect with our creativity.
There. I have been doing stuff, and now I spam you with the silly drawings and practice water colour work I've been doing the past week or so. I am not good with water colour. I have moments of accidental brilliance, and hours of WTeverlovingFisgoingonhere??? I actually didn't take painting when I was in art school--where they teach you how to paint--because I didn't know how to paint. Go ahead and read that again. The logic of youth at work there! But I didn't want to look like I didn't know what I was doing! It made sense at the time, but then, so did dating that guy from theatre... I wish now I had dropped ceramics, which I never really liked, and taken the painting class. (I did drop the theatre guy, thank goodness!)
