Quote Discussion: The Joy in Creating

This month I want to look at the expectations and restrictions we place on our creativity. The idea behind this quote is that no matter what you're going through with your creativity, what phase of the process you're in, every day is just another day we get to create. We make the choice to create each day we greet the sun and that is a magical moment we get to experience everyday. Why then do we begin to place these expectations of perfectionism and performance on our creations? I want to get back to creating imperfectly; eliminating expectations on my creativity to allow for mess and fun and spontaneity. If it doesn't go "well" one day the next is another day I get to create and can change direction. Creativity is fluid, our ability to create is infinite. Let's re-claim the joy and fun in our creative process.
